Rimmel London: Lasting Finish By Kate Lipsticks

As a Rimmel 10 girl, I enjoy some pretty amazing perks.  One such perk is to try out Rimmel’s newest products and share my thoughts.  My latest package from Rimmel London contained a few more Lasting Finish By Kate Lipsticks to add to my collection and I am dying to share some photos with you Lashionistas!

Pictured above from left to right: 12, 04, 08, and 01

These are highly pigmented matte shades that glide onto the lips smoothly and give even color coverage that is build-able.  Because they are matte shades, you will want to ensure that your lips are exfoliated and well-moisturized before application.

One thing that stands out about this line is the fun shade range.  The Lasting Finish by Kate line provides an option for everyone’s style- from bold and daring to sexy to simple and sweet.  I had a blast playing with these fun shades- have a look:

Aren’t they beautiful! #12 and #08 are perfect for Spring while, #04 is great for a wild evening out, and #01 is my favorite red of the moment and can be dressed up or down but always looks hot!  Dab a little clear gloss in the center of your lips for a sexy shine.

I am definitely in love with these flirty lip shades and I am surprised that I even enjoy the look of the deep purple shade, though I may only use that to exercise authority behind closed doors. ;)

What are your thoughts on these lippies? At about $5.20 each, they are way worth a shot!

Now, let’s put the staying power of this lipstick to the test! My Rimmel 10 Challenge this month is to give as many kisses as I can without my Lasting Finish Lipstick fading away.  I used a great strategy and I did pretty well!  Let’s take a look:

What do you think, Lashionistas? Did I succeed? :)

XOXO

PS: The purple is my fav on you! hahaha (Plus the evil eye makes it just THAT much better!)

      ooooh evil! ;)
They are very moist for Matte Lippies but, they will def stick to any crusty dry skin- like all mattes. Thanks for taking a look, I’m glad you liked the purple <3

I saw these at the store and passed on them. I didn’t like any of the colors. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing LOL

    • lashgirl says:

Really?? I love the coral for Spring, it’s a little Tangier than my other corals if that makes any sense! I’d reconsider on the red- it BELONGS on your full lips- add some cat eyes and MeeeOw!!

  3. Ariel K says:

Sarah. I have two of these, and love them! But I have always likes the Lasting Finish lipsticks.
People are always so afraid of deep dark lips, but I think they are beautiful and sexy, especially if you are going to a club, or like you mentioned to exercise authority behind closed doors, haha.

    • lashgirl says:

Hahaha you caught that huh? lol At least I know you read my blog and for that- I am thankful! :)
Yes, I got more into Dark lipsticks about a year ago and I’ve been hooked ever since! I think it is very fashion forward of Rimmel to offer shades like these and not just the shades they think the mass market will buy- there’s something about that that screams creativity to me from the brand!

Love you girl- thanks for stopping by!
      XOXO

Haha behind closed doors. I love the coral and the pink on you and you always rock a red! The purple is so vampy love it!

    • lashgirl says:

Yes, I don’t know why I rarely reach for red- I always love it once it’s on me! Too sexy?
Vampy! That’s a great way to describe it! I shall remember that…… :)
Thanks for stopping by Natalie! IMY <333

All shades are looking lovely on you, especially # 12.
My lips are a bit on the drier side so, although the colours are lovely, I cannot try these. Thanks for the post, really useful
