Gourmet Body Treats: Feast on this eye candy

The cosmetics industry at large, is always developing something new- with 24 hr, waterproof, fade-proof, smudge-proof, SPF, color-adjusting, mood-boosting technology, at the very least.  With all of the crazy gimmicks out there, sometimes it’s just nice to go back to the basics.  Gourmet Body Treats is a vegan cosmetic line that delivers just that- hand-made, all vegan, cruelty-free, pure and simple.

Developed by Waleska Agosto, Gourmet Body Treats came to life when Waleska discovered that main-stream cosmetics were too harsh for her sensitive skin.  She has since dedicated her time creating products that are, “safe, chemical free, [and] non-toxic.”

Not only was I lucky enough to recently receive a package of Gourmet Body Treats goodies to review, I have also won the privilege to name one of their new shadow pigments on their Facebook Page- “One Blue Over The Cuckoo’s Nest!”  Have a look at these lovely loose shadows and discover why GBT is purely amazing!

Aren’t they wonderful, Lashionistas? The only one that did not swatch as pigmented as the rest was “Sage” and that is the most matte of all the colors.  Overall, I am very pleased with the pigmentation of the shadows and the unique color choices to play with- I have to admit, the one I named is my Favorite!

Which color is your favorite? Will you be trying out Gourmet Body Treats in the future?

XOXO
